Hymn Leaders help guide the congregation in singing during worship. Your role is to stand up front and lead the community confidently through chosen hymns, making music accessible and joyful for all.

Sign up 1–3 weeks in advance for services where you are available. Brief rehearsal before service with accompanist; optional extra rehearsal during the week.

A love of singing and willingness to lead others. Formal training not required.

Support includes rehearsal with our accompanist (Dan Sommer), optional at-home practice materials, and collaboration with other hymn leaders.

Your enthusiasm will enhance the musical life of the congregation, help people sing more confidently, and build a stronger, more musical UUCF.
