UUCF is committed to ensuring that the Member Portal is accessible to all members and friends. Accessibility is part of our values of welcome, inclusion, and equity.
The Member Portal includes several built-in accessibility features designed to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
Keyboard Navigation
All menus, forms, and buttons are accessible via keyboard-only navigation. Focus indicators are clearly visible, and the tab order is designed to be predictable and easy to follow.
Screen Reader Support
The portal uses semantic HTML, a clear heading hierarchy, and accessible form labels. ARIA annotations are added where needed to help screen readers interpret interactive elements.
The portal is compatible with major screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
Color Contrast & Visual Clarity
The interface follows high-contrast color guidelines to support readability. A dark-mode option is also available to improve legibility and comfort in low-light environments.
