Setting Up Automatic Payments (Autopay)
This section is for Members or Friends who previously used in-person giving and now want to switch to automatic giving. If you are a Member entering or confirming your annual pledge, you can set up autopay during that process without needing these steps.
When Members Set Up Autopay
Members have two opportunities to begin automatic giving.
1. During Pledge Setup or Confirmation
When entering or confirming your annual pledge, the portal will offer weekly or monthly automatic giving options. You may choose autopay immediately as part of your pledge setup.
2. Switching Later
If you originally chose in-person giving (Cash, Check, Zelle), you can switch to autopay at any time using the steps below.
How to Set Up Autopay (Switching from In-Person)
- Click Hi {First}
- Members: choose My Pledge
- Friends: choose Manage My Donations
- Click Manage my gifts
- Select Start automatic giving
- Choose weekly or monthly giving
- Enter your payment information
- Confirm your automatic giving schedule
Your first automatic gift may process immediately or on the next scheduled date, depending on when you set up autopay.
Cadence Cannot Be Changed Later
Once you choose weekly or monthly automatic giving, that frequency cannot be changed. To use a different cadence, you must stop your current automatic gift and set up a new automatic gift with your preferred frequency.
