How Recurring Gifts Work
Recurring gifts are automatic weekly or monthly contributions that continue until you update or stop them. They provide a simple way to support UUCF consistently throughout the year.
Members
Members can use recurring gifts in two main ways:
- Choose automatic giving while making or confirming their annual pledge
- Switch from in-person giving (Cash, Check, Zelle) to automatic giving later
Automatic gifts apply directly toward a Member's annual pledge. Members can always see their next automatic gift amount and the next automatic gift date in the portal.
Friends
Friends may set up ongoing automatic gifts at any time. These gifts continue until they choose to stop and help support UUCF's operating budget year-round.
Security
All automatic payments are processed by Stripe. UUCF never sees your card or bank account information. For every successful automatic payment, you will receive:
- A receipt email from Stripe
- A thank-you email from UUCF
